This bracelet is very special to me. I have been a world traveler since I was a month old! My father is from Australia, so that is where my facination with other cultures began. Each coin on this bracelet is from every one of the countries I have visited in my lifetime. So far it includes England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, America, the Carribean, Mexico, Japan, and Thailand.
I will be adding onto it as long as I am living and traveling the globe!
I have had this dresser for most of my life, but it used to be a Victorian style white dresser...not really my style! So I decided to refinish it! I sanded, painted, and drilled...after adding new handles and painting the top (Piet Mondrian style!), I now have a brand new piece that I am proud to display in my home!
I made this valance for my friend Melissa. She had the idea, and I had the desire to do it. It can be reversed so the yellow plaid is on top of the green dragonflies as well. I also handmade the tassels that weight the bottom of each "V".
This is an art project I had in high school. We had to draw an animal once on regular paper then once on black scratchboard. You basically start with a black sheet and scratch away the black to reveal the white behind. I chose zebras for a couple reasons: I love zebras and they were the obvious black and white choice! It is one of a few art projects I got framed, I love it that much!
This necklace started out as an experiment using copper wire and silver wire. The end result is a fun fashionable piece of jewelry that I love to display and wear! It got its name when my friend saw it and said that the dangling beads looked like a skeleton hand falling from the necklace.
I thought it was clever and funny! Good friends rock! ;) Thanks Rachel!
Just because these items aren't for sale, that doesn't mean that you can't ask me about them! Feel free to email me at any time!
